Maricopa County offers a FREE and simple solution to Mortgage Companies, Tax Servicing Companies, Developers and other multi-account payers - the Corporate Services System (CSS).

CSS is a free on-line service provided by the Treasurer's office to facilitate the rapid and error-free collection of taxes on multiple tax roll accounts.

Arizona Revised Statutes (42-18051/E) allow County Treasurers to require electronic transmission of tax payment supporting documentation from third party payers or entities with a high volume of accounts.

Should I use CSS?

CSS was designed for any entity making property tax payments for 20 or more tax roll accounts (real estate parcel, mobile home, commercial equipment, or centrally assessed) at the same time. If making regular tax payments on multiple accounts - CSS should be used. Tax services, mortgage companies, real estate developers, banks, and management companies are typical CSS clients. CSS clients manage their accounts and payments through statement request and tax payment lists.

CSS is exclusively for current year tax processing.

What do I need for CSS?

No special hardware is required. The only software requirements are internet access and one of the following - Excel, Lotus 1-2-3, or Text file - saved with a comma delimited format (.CSV) for request and payment lists.

How do I apply for CSS access?

The application requires the entity name, mailing address, and contact individual including email address and direct phone number. This can be provided by mail or phone call. A corporate code and password to access the CSS will be issued.

What is the Statement Request list?

This is a list of account numbers that are currently serviced by your entity. This list is uploaded using CSS prior to tax time. At that time a choice must be made regarding the bill printing options. Tax statement mailing is in September.

What is the Tax Payment list?

This is a list of the accounts with the payment amount for each account to be paid. This list is sent using CSS to the Treasurer's Office.

How is the payment made?

Payment is submitted by check, ACH, or wired funds.

For more information on CSS or to apply for access, please phone Corporate Services department at (602) 506-6052. The mailing address is:
